At Que 42, we’re on a mission to put authentic, mouthwatering BBQ on the map in Western New York. Our story is steeped in the smoke, fire, and flavor of American BBQ tradition—but with a local twist and a serious passion for community.
What started as a shared love of backyard tailgates, long smokes, and the kind of conversations only had around a pile of hot coals, has grown into a flavorful movement. From sauces to rubs, and from competitions to community outreach, Que 42 exists to bring people together through great food and even better company.

Grills Mafia x Que 42
The spark for Grills Mafia came when Reid Ferguson, the Buffalo Bills’ long snapper and a talented griller, teamed up with Que 42.
Drawing inspiration from the Bills Mafia, Reid saw an opportunity to create a parallel movement: a community where fans, foodies, and pitmasters could come together around barbecue. His influence as a beloved Bills player gave the idea an instant spark.
With Reid as our Chief Grilling Officer, Grills Mafia is more than a brand extension. It has become a movement and partnership determined to keep delivering amazing products, events, while supporting veteran's charities. Reid serves as the visible link between Buffalo’s sports culture and its growing food scene.

Our products are made in Western New York and all our co-packers and distribution partners are located right here in Western New York.

While we are unable to legally claim (FDA regulations) they are gluten free, our products do not contain ingredients that have gluten.

Absolutely not! The sweetness comes from all natural raw sugar or Western New York honey. There are no fillers or preservatives.

Because we refuse to use preservatives and only use all-natural ingredients, sauces will separate. This is what natural products are supposed to do (think of real peanut butter). Just shake it up!

Our products legally must say they have a 2 year shelf life but unopened, they can last up to 5 years.

We are so much more than a BBQ brand! Our products can go on potatoes, veggies, and more. In fact, our KC rub is excellent on top of a plain cheesecake as a brûlée or a vanilla ice cream topping. Our young consumers love to dip their french fries in the sauces!
